Have A Few Questions?
FAQs
If you’re thinking about having your own website, there are a few things to consider. First and foremost, what kind of business are you in? Are you just starting out or already established? Do you have a product or service that people want to learn more about? These factors will determine how much time and money it takes to create an effective website.
Yes, we register domains and host them.
We register your domain on your behalf, then host it on our servers. We manage your DNS settings so that you don’t have to worry about it.
The answer is yes, you can purchase your own domain. If you already have a domain, we can help with that. But if not, we’ll also be happy to register a new one for you!
If you’re looking for more information on this topic or would like us to point your existing site over to our server so that it’s easier for people to find and navigate through (and less likely to break), let us know and we’ll do the research for free!
Email hosting is a service that allows you to send and receive email using your domain name. You can host your email on your own / our server, or use a third-party service. If you use a third-party service, then you’ll need to configure your email client (most likely Outlook) so it connects with the new service.
The cost of a basic website depends on the complexity of the site and how many pages you want to include. A basic website (the kind that doesn’t have any fancy bells and whistles) costs around R2000,00 to R3500,00 to build. If you’re looking for something more elaborate, it will probably be at least twice as much.
The answer is yes. We can redesign your existing website, and it will look just as good in the new format as it did before.
If you have an existing domain name that you want to use for your new site, we can simply change that over to be the new one. If you don’t want to go through all of this trouble (and expense), then just tell us what kind of changes need to be made and we’ll do them for free!
It depends on how many pages you want, how many images you want and how much content you want to include. It also depends on how much work you’re willing to put into the project and how much info that is given. If enough info is given early on, the website should be done fairly quickly.
The sky is the limit! The only limit to the number of pages you can have on your site is your imagination and budget. As long as you’re following Google’s guidelines, there’s no reason why you can’t have a main page with multiple subpages (or even a completely separate website).
The answer is yes, you can update your own site.
If you’ve got some coding knowledge and a good understanding of how WordPress works, then it’s possible to create new pages on your site if they’re not already there. You can also edit existing pages by adding or removing content from them.
SEO is a long-term play. The key is to be patient and consistent over time. It can take months or years for your website to rank in the right places, depending on how competitive it is and how much work you’ve already done. You need to know that you’re investing in something that will pay off over time, so don’t expect immediate results from any initial steps taken!
The best way to optimize your website for search engines is by adding relevant keywords in the content of your site. A good rule of thumb is that you should have at least one keyword per page, but this can vary based on the type of site you’re building.
When choosing a domain name for your website we recommend looking into top level domains such as .co.za/.com/.net/.org/.biz/.info, which tend not only offer better traffic rankings but also tendend towards being more memorable than shorter ones such as .co.*
There are a few other costs to consider when building a website. The first is domain registration, which can cost anywhere from R115,00 to R350,00 per year depending on the provider and the type of hosting you choose. Each domain has to be renewed once a year at the same cost. Next is web hosting: this is a monthly subscription to host your website on our servers. These can cost between R100,00 p/m to R2000,00 p/m – depending on what your needs are (it’s usually around R100,00 p/m for most clients).
Finally is support & big website updates: depending on how much time is spent on support and what the cause of the problem was, our support costs are usually free – the same goes for website updates!
Social media management is a form of content creation and promotion. A social media manager will help you with your social media strategy, including what posts to post, how often you should post them, and who should see those posts.
Social media managers can also help with the maintenance of your accounts, such as making sure they’re up-to-date with the latest trends in their industry or community. They’ll also set up advertising campaigns for you so that you don’t have to worry about it yourself!
Benefits include:
Increased exposure for your business through an engaged audience that’s already interested in what you do
Increased brand awareness among potential new customers
At the end of the day, every website is different and you need to make sure that your site is going to meet your needs. If you have questions about any of the services we offer, please let us know!
